Hillel in Israel

Hillel Israel is a part of the international Hillel organization.

The first Hillel was established in 1923, in the University of Illinois. In Isreal, the first Hillel was established in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in 1951.

Until recenlty Hillel Jerusalem was dedicated to overseas students, however in the last decade new Hillels were established in various universities and colleges for Israeli students.
